- Me:
My name is Chris Bashford. I am
an artist and many of my paintings
will be exhibited here. I also run my
own small printing and publishing business
from the back room of my garden flat in
Brixton, London, UK.
- About Brixton:
Brixton is just south of the
River Thames in London. It's the
last stop on the Victoria Line and
a convenient ten minutes from the famous West End.
Brixton has an excellent street market where you can buy almost anything
you can imagine (and a bit more) very cheaply. We probably have the best selection
of bootleg tapes available in the UK.
There is also a throbbing night life, with pubs and clubs and restaurants to rival the best.
Drop me a line if you plan to visit. I'd be pleased to buy you a drink and tell you a joke or two.
By the way, did you hear about Ronald Reagan? His doctor said, "Ronald, I have some bad news for you. You have
cancer and you have Alzeimer's Disease."
Reagan laughed and replied, "Well, at least I don't have cancer!"
